Our Founder - Jonathan Archie
In the living room, my mother was at her desk, carefully checking our bank statements and balancing the checkbook. Across the same room, stood my father, who was glued to his Bible, seeking a divine revelation for the day. As a child, these were the night routines that would eventually become my greatest interests throughout adulthood.
As I advanced in age, I found myself drawn to the accumulation of wealth and the management of it thereof. Eventually, this desire led me to begin my career on Wall Street at the tender age of 19. The glamor of wealth and fame had soon become my greatest ambition. I was driven to become the first millionaire within my circle of friends and family. However, due to a lack of self-control and discipline, I found myself in financial ruin shortly thereafter.
This led to one of the worst periods of my life, as I was drowning in debt and depression. It was then that I was reminded of the nights my mother would sit reviewing the bank statements and telling my dad that we couldn’t spend more than we had. Even greater, it was then that I was reminded of the nights my father would pour into his Bible. And so, I scurried over to find this book that was the least read for years. After reading through the first few chapters of Exodus, I fell in love with this new found truth.
This truth hidden within the Word of God, began uplifting me from my ruins into peace. Jesus became the divine revelation of my life and I began noticing a restoration. A restoration in all aspects of my broken life. And so today, I share my story of restoration to educate and encourage others spiritually and financially.
